Note The Königgrätzer Marsch (Armeemarsch II, 134 (Armeemarsch II, 195)) is a
famous German military march composed by Johann Gottfried Piefke after
the Battle of Königgrätz, 1866, the decisive battle of the
Austro-Prussian War. This March continues to be very popular and is a staple of any modern German
military parade. Like many German marches it is also used by the Russian
Army and the British Army. This song is the clan them song not because of it history but because of its beat.
